Place-Based Ambassadors Program
Applications for the 2025-2026 Cohort will be available in May 2025.
The LocLore Place-Based Ambassadors Program connects place-based educators from around the United States. Place-Based Ambassadors:
build enduring connections with like-minded place-based educators,
enhance their educational practice through deep exploration with place-based content, and
provide their expertise to enhance LocLore programming.

Benefits of the Program
Place-Based Ambassadors will receive:
previews and input into upcoming LocLore programming,
priority admission to LocLore programming throughout the year, and
LocLore gear and accessories
Becoming an Ambassador
Successful Place-Based Ambassadors will:
advocate for place-based learning in their local communities,
commit to attending and participating in bi-monthly ambassadors meetings,
workshop place-based lessons with their colleagues, and
attend and provide feedback on LocLore programming.
Calendar of Events
The following are the scheduled meetings of the Place-Based Ambassadors Program. All meetings will take place virtually from 6-7pm Eastern time.
